Terms and Conditions for Popular Journeys – Diva Drive

Eligibility for Participation:

• Only women drivers who own a Maruti car are eligible to participate in the drive.
• Participants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Participants must submit a photocopy of their valid driving license, registration certificate and valid insurance policy of their car while joining for the trip.
• Participants are required to register for the event through the official registration process, and only shortlisted participants will be selected for the drive.
• The participant is allowed to bring one additional ADULT female guest along.
• Employees of Kuttukaran Group and their immediate relatives are not eligible to register for the Drive.

Participation Fee:

• A non-refundable participation fee of Rs. 500/- is required to take part in the event.
• If the participant is not selected for the drive finally for any reason, the participation fee will be refunded.

Registration Process:

• Participants must complete the registration through the online link provided by Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd (PVSL).

Event Details:

• The destination of the drive will be Munnar and stay will be arranged at the 5-star property, The Leaf, Munnar.
• Date of Event: February 28th to March 1st, 2025.
• The convoy of cars will depart from the Corporate Office of PVSL at Mamangalam in Kochi at on 28th February 2025 at a specified time, which will be intimated to participants later.
• Participants coming from different parts of the state will need to reach the specified location on their own by the specified time. Fuel and other expenses for this travel will have to be borne by the participants themselves.
• The convoy will travel to the designated holiday spot from Mamangalam, with all travel-related expenses (fuel, tolls, food etc) sponsored by Popular.
• Accommodation, food, and refreshments will be provided for the participants during the trip.
• As far as possible, the return journey to Mamangalam will also be as a convoy. However, if for any reason a participant wishes to leave the group before that, it will be at the sole responsibility of the participant.
• From the flag off time, till the participant leaves the convoy, all activities of the participants will be only as per the schedule fixed by the PVSL organizing team.

Indemnification and Liability:

• Indemnification Clause: By registering for and participating in the Women's Day Drive, all participants agree that Popular (hereafter referred to as “The Company”) will not be held liable for any mishap, injury, loss, or damage to person, property, or vehicle occurring during the event. This includes, but is not limited to, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, personal injuries, or loss of personal belongings.
• Participants must acknowledge and agree that they take full responsibility for their actions, including but not limited to safe driving practices and adhering to traffic laws during the convoy.
• In case of any injury, accident, or mishap, the participant agrees to hold Popular, its employees, representatives, or affiliates harmless and indemnified against all liabilities, claims, damages, or losses.

Safety and Vehicle Condition:

• All participating vehicles must be in a roadworthy condition and meet the necessary safety standards as required by Indian law.
• Participants must wear seat belts at all times during the drive.
• Any vehicle deemed unsafe or unfit for the trip by Popular’s representatives may be disqualified from participation.
• The convoy will be accompanied by a team from PVSL who will co-ordinate and monitor the trip to ensure safety. All participants must follow the instructions given by the PVSL team.

Registration and Shortlisting:

• All interested participants must complete the registration form provided as an online link by Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd.
• From the registrations received, few participants will be shortlisted by Popular.
• The selection criteria will be based on a filtration process and other reasonable factors as determined by Popular.

Filming and Media Consent:

• Participants acknowledge and agree that the company may take photos, videos, and testimonials during the trip, and these may be used for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes across various media, including social media, print, and online platforms.
• Participants may be required to provide a testimonial video, which will be used by Popular for marketing purposes.
• By participating, you give your consent to Popular to use any material, including testimonials, photos, and videos, for marketing and public relations activities.

Activities Involved:

• The event will include a variety of activities aimed at promoting networking, relaxation, and enjoyment. These include:
  • Networking Get-together: An opportunity for participants to meet and interact with like-minded women drivers.
  • Informative Session: A session where experts will address the participants about Popular’s services and other relevant topics.
  • Entertainment Session: Fun activities designed to keep participants engaged and entertained.
  • Dinner: An evening of socializing at the hotel along with a Dinner.
  • Resort Pastimes: Enjoying the various recreational activities provided by the resort, including relaxation, games, and bonding time.
• Certificates & Gifts: All participants will be given a Certificate of Successful Participation in the Women’s Day Drive, along with a surprise gift as a token of appreciation.

Behaviour and Conduct:

• Participants are expected to behave respectfully and in accordance with the rules of the event.
• Any inappropriate behaviour, disruptive actions, or violation of event rules may result in disqualification from the trip and immediate removal from the event.
• Participants must not engage in reckless driving or any activity that could endanger their own lives or that of others.

Cancellation and Modification of the Event:

• Popular reserves the right to cancel or modify the event in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather, safety concerns, or other factors outside the company’s control.
• In case of cancellation, Popular will inform all participants promptly and refund any non-transferable fees, if applicable.

Health and Medical Emergencies:

• Participants should ensure that they are physically fit for the trip and do not have any medical conditions that could impact their ability to drive or participate in the event.
• Popular will not be responsible for any medical conditions, pre-existing health issues, or injuries that arise during the trip.
• In case of medical emergencies, Popular will make reasonable efforts to assist, but participants are encouraged to have their own medical insurance and carry any necessary medications. All medical expenses, if any, during the trip must be borne by the participants.

Force Majeure:

• Popular will not be held liable for any delays or cancellations due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other force majeure circumstances.

Agreement to Terms and Conditions:

• By registering for the event, all participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. They also agree to comply with the rules and regulations set forth by Popular during the event.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with the event shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kochi, Kerala, India.
